Office Manager - Home Health Agency

Due to growth related to our new Medicare-certified status, we are now hiring for the full-time career position of Office Manager at Care IV Home Health's Fayetteville, Arkansas branch. Our Office Manager works under the supervision of the RN Clinical Director, overseeing a small admin office staff, and ensuring that the day-to-day office operations run smoothly. General office hours are Monday through Friday, 8a-5p. Pay depends on experience. Rotating, paid on-call required.

We are seeking a smart, reliable, and trustworthy office professional to join our rapidly-growing Northwest Arkansas work family. Previous experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant or related role in an office setting in the healthcare industry is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greeting clients and guests
  • Routing calls
  • Processing of weekly field staff payroll
  • Ensuring staff credentials are up-to-date (CPR, TB, nursing licenses, etc.)
  • Managing employee files & patient charts
  • Coordinating with our local therapy groups for on-boarding of contract Therapists
  • Composing and mailing out correspondence
  • Ordering office & medical supplies
  • Tracking order returns & getting signed doctor's orders in a timely manner
  • Process invoices & coordinate with Billing / Finance Dept
  • Participating in on-call and taking after hours patient referrals (rotating basis)
  • Other office duties as assigned

Desired experience:

  • Minimum 1 year working in a professional office setting specifically in the healthcare / medical industry REQUIRED
  • Previous experience managing office personnel
  • Professional, presentable demeanor with excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills in programs such as Word, Excel, etc. plus the willingness and ability to learn specialized scheduling and payroll software quickly & efficiently
  • Comfortable with new technology and using smart devices
  • Great attitude, punctual/reliable, and a team player
  • Payroll experience preferred
