Director of QAPI / Compliance / Education

Care IV Home Health is now hiring a QAPI Director at our Corporate HQ in Little Rock, Arkansas! This position is responsible for the QAPI Program (Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement), company-wide staff education, tracking / reporting metrics, complain & incident reports, and overall clinical excellence at Care IV Home Health. This position reports to the Vice President. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. This position is based in our Little Rock office and general office hours are 8a-5p.

Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Onsite presence ensured during any survey at our 4 branch locations
  • Staff education, including orient & training staff on QAPI programs, designate logins & tracking compliance on LMS, designate appropriate courses for staff education, and other education duties as needed
  • Produce weekly KPIs, provide outcomes data from SHP, communicate CMS data & STAR ratings, and other metrics as assigned
  • Update QAPI Programs to ensure compliance with COPs
  • Develop & implement the P&P required to meet regulatory compliance
  • Develop a written QAPI plan annually that defines the scope of the program for the upcoming year
  • Meet with our Medical Director regularly to ensure proper engagement and use of their role
  • Monthly safety training & inspections
  • Audit ADRs for final payment
  • Manage complaints & incidents log with follow up & documentation of investigations to include in the QAPI Plan
  • Other key QAPI & Clinical Excellence support duties as assigned

Required experience:

  • Must have current certifications of HCS-D (Coding) and HCS-O or COS-C (OASIS), or be successful in obtaining these certifications within 3 months of employment
  • Valid Registered Nurse license or Physical Therapy licensure
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
  • Minimum 1 year of current or recent home health experience
  • Previous experience in a leadership role in the healthcare setting
  • Experience with OASIS assessments is required
  • Previous experience in a quality improvement role strongly preferred
  • Excellent computer skills with solid critical thinking skills and an attention to detail
